Student Entrepreneurs Launch Seaweed Protein Bars to Boost Nutrition

Two Northeastern students, James Sibley and Sebastian Sanchez, combined their biology and business skills to launch Phytabar - a unique chocolate bar that incorporates seaweed for a nutritional punch. The vegan bar packs 13 grams of fiber, 9 grams of protein, and plenty of omega-3s from wakame seaweed, aiming to make healthy snacking more appealing while promoting sustainable aquaculture. Since its May launch, they've already sold over a thousand bars and are looking to expand their product line.
