• Cincinnati's launching a program to help small businesses upgrade their spaces, offering grants of up to $20,000.

The Commercial Tenant Improvement Program, which had a successful pilot in 2023, aims to cover interior improvements like lighting, flooring, and electrical work. Just Q'in BBQ owner Matthew Cuff, who used the grant to expand to a second location, says it was "instrumental" in minimizing out-of-pocket costs for small business owners without deep pockets or private investors.
